This is a happy union of two images I was working on that just weren't happening until I decided to put then together. The background is a matte painting attempt combined with the poser figures in the foreground. I then tinkered with it for weeks on and off (the final PSD is 430meg)...and now I think I've just got to leave it and accept it as it is or I'll go insane...so here it is, hope you like it.

i love this picture, it looks absolutely brillient. The is something very human about the casual way the two characters are just walking and enjoying each others company. The setting works very well to my mind. Though what would be considered an impressive view, its still a very down to earth landscape, this contrasts very well with the alien who really, to me doesn't look that alien.
